G. Giltz Croley, II, M.D.
Dr. Croley is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and the James H. Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University. He completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a charter member of the Society of General Surgeons. He has been practicing in Concord with the Piedmont Surgical Clinic since 1992.
Joseph P. Simpson, M.D.
Dr. Simpson is a Concord native and a graduate of Davidson College and Bowman Grey School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Southeastern Surgical Congress. Dr. Simpson began practice with Piedmont Surgical Clinic in 2000 after serving as a general surgeon in the United States Air Force.
Mark S. Sanders, M.D.
Dr. Sanders is a North Carolina native and graduate of Winston-Salem State University and East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospital/University of Virginia affiliate.  He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.  Dr. Sanders has interest in all areas of general surgery including Advanced Laparoscopy. He began his practice with Piedmont Surgical Clinic in 2005.

Michael A. Houston, M.D.
Dr. Houston is a Statesville native and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.  He completed his General Surgery Residency and a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at UNC Hospitals.  Dr. Houston has interests in advanced laparoscopy, cancer and endocrine surgery, and surgical critical care.  He began his practice with Piedmont Surgical Clinic in 2007.
